A barista's first shift with SORT

SORT shows what needs attention today. Poster still records sales and quantities. Practise three habits during the first shift.

At the start

1. Open app.getsort.app on the work tablet and allow notifications.
2. On Today, find New batches.
3. Compare the date and quantity with the packaging. If correct, tap Confirm. If not, correct the batch.
4. Review orange cards that expire today and red cards that are already expired.

During the shift

Sell the earliest expiry first. If a card says an older batch exists, find it and place it in front. Record supplies and prepared batches in Poster immediately; otherwise early sales can be attributed to the wrong batch.

At the end

Open Today again. For anything expired or unable to last until the next shift, check the remainder, choose the truthful reason, and tap 🗑 Write off. Follow write off a batch correctly for the full procedure.

If nothing expires, there is no extra work. SORT never writes off stock automatically.
