- On Today, open New batches.
- Compare the name, quantity, and date with the physical batch. The date on the packaging takes precedence over SORT’s calculation.
- If everything is correct, tap Confirm.
- If the date is wrong, tap it, enter the correct day and time, and save.
- If the item is stored elsewhere, choose the correct shelf before confirming.
- If the card shows Also written off, complete every Required row. SORT will not confirm the batch without the required ingredient or amount.
For several correct cards, use Confirm all. Cards without a shelf or requiring a choice remain available individually.
If you see Unknown expiry, enter the package date or remove an item that does not belong on a shelf. The manager receives a decision and can save a rule for the future.
Ordinary confirmation does not write off the main batch in Poster. However, when the manager configures linked ingredients at confirmation (for example, beans and a paper filter for a brew), confirmation creates one full-actual write-off per submitted line. The card hides during the 30-second hold; Cancel restores it without a write. If SORT tracks less stock, Poster still receives the complete quantity and the difference goes to the manager. Offline, the action says Waiting to sync, never that the write-off already succeeded.
